Be a Friend of Young SIETAR!

Dear SIETAR members

As you have been our appreciated friends for quite a while now, we feel you might be interested in the possibilites of contributing towards achieving our common goals. In view of Young SIETAR's stable growth in terms of the member base and the number of projects carried out, we are looking for ways to finance our activities.

What we believe is especially important is to allow as many Young SIETARians as possible to patricipate in the events designed to increase intercultural awareness and serve as a catalyst to change the reality. Many of our members are very promising young students or academics, actively participating in YS projets. However, they often come from less developed countries or for other reasons cannot afford to take part in our non-virtual events. It's a pity, isn't it?

It doesn't have to be that way, though. We can change it together. In order to extend our reach we have devised a variety of ways in which those sharing our ideas, you included, could have their part in bringing them to all corners of the globe.

First of all, there is the 'Friends of YS' programme. It has a very specific goal. By donating 195 euros, you would make it possible for an active Young SIETARian, otherwise unable to afford it, to come to our annual congress. In this way, you would be helping a flesh-and-blood non-anonymous person. The amount would be used to cover the congress fee of the person. You would receive commemorative "Friend of YS" t-shirt and would also be interviewed for our YS newsletter. What's more, we will put your logo on our website for one year. There are, of course, other options for you to consider, especially if you feel you are not ready for such an involvement. We would be happy to accept a donation of the amount of your choice. This would be used to cover the costs of organising our events, thus allowing to reduce participation fees. Examples? Thematic workshops and pre-congress events. We will also be more than ready to use such a donation towards a goal specified by you. Last but not least, we are offering several congress sponsorship packages. Whichever option you choose, we can guarantee you satisfaction from having your share in making it all come true (well, there are also tax benefits...;-D).
