My experience with the relationships between the religions in Egypt is far from this positive description, the author has made. In Egypt Kopts and Muslims don't have even the same rights. You can ask if this is a question of religion. The Muslims say yes. The reality is that christians are a less valuable group for them as they show it in their behaviour. Not everybody not at every occasion - but live as a woman without a scarf in Egypt. This is not easy. And that is the reality!
