We are happy to present you the first edition of the SIETAR Europa online magazine.

The desire to make your membership even more valuable inspired us to create something new: a magazine that provides you with well selected materials dedicated to a certain theme. A magazine that offers a platform for writing talents of the SIETAR members. A magazine that is full of amusing, inspiring, fascinating, useful, challenging, provocative, controversial, memorable articles…

The online Magazine will be issued several times a year, each issue dedicated to a certain theme. This issue explores the nature of Islam from the perspective of interculturalists. We hope you will find something interesting and useful in it.

We would like to thank Sharjeel-Antoine Moutier for being the expert-editor of this issue. And our special thanks go to Neil Payne of Kwintessential for his help and generosity in preparing this issue of the magazine. We would also like to thank Muna Alyusuf and Hamied Alromaithy for their kind support. Pari Namazie and Evgenia Andreeva's pieces were particularly in the spirit of this new publication.
