Muna
Alyusuf
Cultural Training Manager, Cendant
Mobility
Muna Alyusuf's career experience spans the
public and private sectors within the oil,
health and education sectors. Prior to joining
Cendant, Ms. Alyusuf worked for Chevron
in California, USA, as a Cross-Cultural
Area Expert. Concurrently, she was the Manager
of the Arab Cultural Centre in San Francisco.
Whilst doing her M.A. degree on the Feminist
Sociology of Knowledge, she worked as an
assistant professor at California State
University in Sacramento, where she assisted
in the delivery of courses, including Oil
& Conflict in the Middle East, Middle
Eastern Societies and Cultures, and Sociology
of the Family. In addition to her involvement
in the intercultural training field, Ms.
Alyusuf has also done social work, counselling
and management in Saudi Arabia, the United
Arab Emirates, the United States and the
United Kingdom. Whilst working as a Student
and a Career Counsellor in Dubai, the United
Arab Emirates, Ms. Alyusuf developed and
delivered an Intercultural Orientation programme
to the staff and faculty of Dubai Women’s
College on understanding and working effectively
with the Arab culture. Whilst in pursuit
of her MBA degree, which she earned in January
of 2001, through the University of Northern
London, Ms. Alyusuf also worked in both
the retail industry and within academia.
Originally from Saudi Arabia, Ms. Alyusuf
has lived in Riyadh and Alkhobar as well
as in the United States, the United Arab
Emirates, and the United Kingdom. She is
a member of the Middle East Studies Association
- USA, the Association of Middle East Women
Studies - USA, the World Affairs Council,
Sociologists for Women in Society, and SIETAR
- UK. Ms. Alyusuf is fluent in both Arabic
and English.

Neil
Payne
Managing Director, Kwintessential
Neil Payne has travelled, worked and studied
extensively in the Middle East. Based in
London, UK, he has successfully completed
an MA in Middle Eastern Studies at SOAS
University. Drawing on his experience as
a language teacher, translator and cultural
consultant, he has established Kwintessential
Ltd., a cross cultural communications consultancy
that provides cultural awareness training,
language tuition, translation and interpretation.

Sharjeel-Antoine
Moutier
Intercultural Consultant
Sharjeel is a professional with a strong
background in finance and multi cultural
training. A French national with Indian
Sub Continent roots, he was brought up in
the Middle East Gulf. He has lived and worked
extensively in the Middle East Gulf, Europe
and has spent some time in the Australia
& South East Asian region. He has consulted
and worked for a number of national and
international companies including those
in the USA, the Middle East, Asia Pacific
and Europe. After studying Business Administration,
Sharjeel started his career as a consultant
advising French companies in search of strategic
partners in the USA and Middle East Gulf.
After seeing the need for greater cultural
awareness for those who undertake business
within cultures other than their own, Sharjeel
began developing and delivering a number
of cultural awareness training programmes
worldwide. These cultural awareness programmes
were targeted mostly within his own areas
of specialisation i.e. The Middle East Gulf.
He has authored number of documents which
includes a series on ‘Working within
the Middle East/Arabic cultures’ that
has been translated into Japanese and are
used to train Japanese executives doing
business within The Middle East Gulf countries.
His area of expertise includes but is not
limited to; How to do Business with the
Middle East Gulf Countries i.e. Saudi Arabia,
United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman
& Qatar, Islamic Banking & Finance,
Intercultural Team Management & Communications,
Conceptualisation, designing and development
of the training programs. Conducting &
Facilitating such programs for executives
and business managers, Conducting needs
assessments, task analyses, development
of training materials along with Development
of the cross cultural tools & extensive
documents with case studies. He has delivered
his cultural awareness programmes extensively
worldwide.

Abdulhamied
Alromaithy
HR, Management and Intercultural Consultant/trainer
Born in Abu Dhabi,
Dr. Abdulhamied Alromaithy is one of very
few UAE Nationals who have attained high
level of professional acknowledgement on
national, regional and international levels.
With over 34 years of work experience, he
has gained the respect and recognition as
a management consultant and HR expert in
the region.Over the past 22 years, Dr. Alromaithy
has become a key player and a well known
professional in the area of HR, management
consulting and training. He has designed,
organized and implemented a very large number
of training programs for leading organizations
in the Gulf region. Abdulhamied has lived,
worked and lectured in many countries including
US, Australia, Malaysia, France, India,
Tunisia, UK, Malta, Philippine, Saudi Arabia,
Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Yemen, Syria,
Thailand, Canada, Brazil and Ireland. He
has published many articles and spoke at
numerous professional conferences in UAE,
Bahrain, USA, Ireland, Canada, Malaysia,
India etc. He has published two books on
career explorations and he is working on
two more books on entrepreneurship and intercultural
issues. Over the last ten years his work
has focused on three main areas: intercultural
training, HR consultancy and training and
microfinance. He has pioneered the design
and implementation of many successful training
and development projects and schemes in
the UAE. Currently, Abdulhamied is a consultant
with the Sharjah Government HR Directorate
and an adjunct faculty at the Dubai University
College.

Pari
Namazie
Managing Director, Atieh
Roshan
Pari is based in Tehran, Iran.
She has had a US, Iranian and UK education.
She is currently completing her PhD on International
HRM at Middlesex University in the UK. Pari
runs a HR and intercultural awareness consulting
company in Iran, Atieh
Roshan (meaning a bright future) part
of the Atieh
Group of companies where she consults
multinationals and local companies on a
vast range of HR issues and intercultural
coaching and consulting. She has contributed
papers, book chapters and publications to
national and international conferences and
journals. Pari is a member of the CIPD
UK and SIETAR Europa.
