dinner including salad, main dish and a drink would

Sales tax
There is no sales tax (VAT)
to pay on SIETAR services.
Those
needing financial assistance may apply for a reduced
rate by submitting a letter with their application stating
their financial need. Please note that if you pay the
reduced rate before having your application for the
reduced rate approved by the congress committee, you
may be asked to pay the difference between the reduced
rate and the standard rate. However, if your application
is later approved, you will have nothing further to
pay.

Ten best papers from Central
and Eastern Europe to get free congress participation
Papers
from the following countries will automatically be entered
into our Central and Eastern European competition. The
ten best (judged by the Programme
Committee) will get their congress participation
free.
If your paper is selected for
the congress, you will be entitled to congress participation
at a 20% discount. You should pay by bank transfer or
cheque. Discounted congress fees are not available for
online payment.

Tours
All prices are based on a group
of 10 or more participants (except the Sofia tour).
If fewer than 10 participants join, these prices will
increase and particpants will be informed on the day
of the tour before paying.

Our
online payments are handled
by PayPal which accepts cards

countries. If your credit
card account is not in one of
those countries, you cannot
payonline. Please use an

am required to wait for an "expanded
use" number in my next
credit card statement.
If
you are spending €750 via
PayPal for the first time, PayPal
will do a security check. This
requires you to pay US$ 1.95
(you will get it back as a PayPal
credit soon). When this small
payment appears on your credit
card statement, you wil see
an expanded use number, which
you must enter (once only) when
you make your next PayPal purchase.
If you are paying €750
for the first time and you cannot
wait until your next credit
card statement, you should use
an offline method.
