Dear fellow SIETARians,

	Delegates, organisers and presenters

We hope that those of you who joined us for the congress in France have had a chance to relax and recharge their batteries.

Thank you very much for your support for the 2005 congress. We keep receiving positive feedback and it looks as if most of you enjoyed your time at La Colle Sur Loup. We hope that you were intellectually stimulated by the discussions, presentations and the debates, emotionally charged by the passion of performers and speakers and may be even a little physically exhausted after talking and singing late into the night.

In the coming days we’ll be asking you for your feedback on the congress. Please take a minute to complete our on-line survey, as this is the best way for us to understand what worked and what should have been done differently.

	Volunteers

This newsflash has one purpose: to thank all of you for your participation and support. Vincent Merk, our fearless tombola man has reported amazing results: we managed to raise €1600 (the car boot sale expertly organized by Grant Douglas included). The silent auction, organized by LaMonte Miller brought another €1000. Thank you all for that!

Very special thanks to all the volunteers from SIETAR France, who worked tirelessly and were the perfect hosts. We realize how hard that job was! Edith Coron, Laurence Sicot, Nancy Bragard, Marine de Labriole, thank you all! Marine de LaBriolle made the theatre arrangements, Isabelle Demengeat and Anne Hélène Guttieres did the Open Space event selection and design. Caroline Wirta, Joëlle Aden, Nancy Caldwell, and Christie Adams were the proposal review team. Nancy Bragard, Grant Douglas, Natalie Lutz, Laurence Sicot worked on translation and interpretation of key notes. And thank you to all the other volunteers from SIETAR France who helped in the preparation of the congress.

Gail Prawda Leila Buck Meaghan Kimball Gail Prawda stimulated thinking in café philo, Leila Buck gave an entertaining opening to the congress and Meaghan Kimball's film challenged our notions of European culture. Thank you!

Thanks to our sponsors we could support many of the participants who wouldn’t have been able to afford the congress otherwise – thank you for your generosity!

The work of our volunteers was essential. Thank you Anja, Katja, Kate, Mirka, Julienne, Stassie, Pierre, Florance, Aimee The tireless efforts of the Sponsorship and Exhibitors Team co-ordinated by LaMonte Miller kept the wheels of the congress turning. Thank you all!

Our gratitude too, to Siobhan Mullins who coordinated the moderators, Klara Falk-Bano and Sabine Wagner who ran the membership activities, Axinia Samoilova who organised the gala dinner and special thanks to Mareike Zettel , Anja Krüger, Zsuzsanna Tungli for their contributions.
