4.10 Working effectively with Japanese colleagues
Pernille Rudlin was brought up partly in Japan and partly in the UK and also spent four years working in the Tokyo headquarters of Mitsubishi Corporation, the Fortune 100 $105bn Japanese investment and trading conglomerate.

She had a variety of roles with Mitsubishi ranging from marketing British consumer goods to Japan to being a key member of a global organisational change initiative, where she focused on the use of information and communication technologies for cross cultural communications.
Most recently she started and headed up a business unit at an internet services company which developed web based research tools and online learning environments.
