I am in the process of developing a slate with knowledgeable experts of stature from Latin America, to participate in a thought leader panel for a Board of Directors meeting in Brasilia in July. Specifically we seek high-level representatives--in leadership positions--that are currently working in Latin America on multi-national macro-level projects, with organizations such as the following:
* OAS - Organization of American States
* Mercosur/Mercosul
* Council of the Americas
* World Bank: Latin America and the Carribeans
* Inter-American Development Bank
* Trade Negotiations Committee of the Free Trade Area of the Americas 
* United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean(ECLAC)
Of course, selected panelists will have all expenses paid for their participation. If possible, panelists will be asked to present in English.If you know anyone (or know someone who knows someone) I would greatly appreciate soonest replies and information sent to:

Over the past 25 years, as a volunteer for AFS, I have organized and run many "orientations" for departing students, arriving students, returning students and host families. For 8 years I lived and worked for the Foreign Service overseas (mainly Latin America). For 9 years I have lived and worked on the US-Mexico border, tailoring my business to the unique culture of this area. Friends, family & strangers frequently seek my advice regarding overseas travel and business. I have been teaching Spanish to managers, interpreting interviews or translating documents.I am ready for a career change and would like to use my experience, knowledge and love of other cultures and languages to find a position in this industry. I am an Intercultural Training Consultant and a Specialist in Business Communications and Education. I am looking for a position in Western Europe working in this field in a university (Education or Business) or in a reputable firm. I serve as a consultant on short-term international education projects for the U.S. Dept of State as a Senior Fulbright Specialist and work as an adjunct faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University. I have a PhD in Global HRD & Adult Education.

I am also loooking for publishers for a second book, a story of the building of a basilica in medieval France. It is the story of Mary Magdalene and the hidden gospel that she wrote. It will be published in Holland in november.

George Simons International is offering internship and collaboration opportunities for writing, translating, editing, proofing or testing of the DIVERSOPHY® line of intercultural training instruments. We are interested in most cultures and topics ranging from general intercultural communication and diversity issues, to culture-specific topics including international business negotiations, global team management, relocation and daily living challenges. Distributorship opportunities are also possible. All collaborators should be fluent in English, have professional experience in the culture being addressed, and be a native speaker of the language into which a game is being translated.
Some possible projects include:
