Welcome
to CEENIC!
Central and Eastern European
Network of InterCulturalists
Who
are we?
The
founding members of CEENIC are a group of professions and
students who attended the SIETAR 2003 Congress in Budapest
and who feel the need to form a network of those interested
in intercultural issues pertinent to Central and Eastern Europe.
What are our objectives?
- to
share information, resources, viewpoints and opinions
- to
collaborate on projects, large or small, formal or informal
- to
become a resource on issues affecting CEEs
- to
raise awareness of the importance of intercultural issues
within the region
- to
raise awareness of CEE and relevant intercultural issues to
those outside the region
What
are we doing?
- establishing
an email discussion group
- establishing
a web site treasury of resources
What is our commitment?
The
founding members want to write a one-page summary about who
we are and our interests as well as propose a question or issue
for discussion. We are dedicating ourselves to answering our
inquiries and maintaining our network.
